Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- OSHA forklift operator certification
- 6-12 months of experience in a warehouse environment
- Completion of forklift and/or power jack training with certification
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience operating a forklift, preferably within a foodservice or GMP-regulated environment
- Ability to bend, twist, stand, sit, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to safely lift and move materials as required by the role
- Availability to work 2nd shift starting at 1pm
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Forklift and/or power jack training with certification
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience operating a forklift, preferably within a foodservice or GMP-regulated environment
- Ability to bend, twist, stand, sit, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to safely lift and move materials as required by the role
Job Duties
- Review daily work schedules, conduct safety checks on equipment, obtain required supplies, and prepare for warehouse operations
- Follow receiving sheets, computer-generated reports, standard operating procedures, and written or verbal instructions
- Locate and verify incoming freight in staging areas, perform count checks, inspect for damage, and complete temperature and quality checks as required
- Transport materials to designated storage locations using forklifts, hi-lifts, or power jacks
- Place pallets into proper rack locations or hand-stack items as necessary
- Enter product data and storage locations into RF units or handheld devices
- Replenish pick slots in a timely manner based on upcoming work orders
- Rotate date-sensitive inventory (FIFO), remove outdated products, and redistribute overstock to temporary storage locations per company policy
- Remove and properly dispose of empty pallets, cardboard, and packing materials
- Inspect pallets for damage and move serviceable pallets to designated storage areas
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Manage equipment batteries by replacing and recharging as required and complete vehicle inspection checklists
- Secure all equipment and complete required documentation at the end of each shift
- Perform other related duties as assigned
