Job Requirements
- BS or apprentice level education or high school diploma with 6 years related trade experience
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to work 2nd shift (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM) including overtime
- No clearance required to start
- No relocation assistance available
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and staff
- Ability to comply with all technical job aspects and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- BS or apprentice level education or high school diploma with 6 years related trade experience
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, procedures and equipment
- Knowledge of janitorial equipment and machinery
- Ability to inspect work areas and supervise the work of others
- Experience with trades labor relations
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, SAP and MyTime
- Self-starter with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of yard wide layout
- 4 years related trades experience
- Experience in supervisory role preferred
Job Duties
- Supervises employees who maintain cleanliness and custodial services of facilities including restrooms and spill response
- Sets priorities, develops schedules, and troubleshoots operational issues
- Allocates resources, tools, and materials for task completion
- Supervises, assigns, coordinates and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel
- Trains and recommends training to improve employee skill and productivity
- Ensures compliance with technical and safety standards
- Manages departmental budget and monitors job and budget performance
- Provides janitorial services such as cleaning, carpet shampooing, floor buffing, and dispenser maintenance
- Builds strong customer relationships and ensures quality service
- Works variable schedules including overtime
