Job Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food service or cleaning experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to different locations daily
  • Must be physically capable of standing for entire shift and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to pass background check, fingerprint screening, and MVR
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing needs
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, varying environments
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Enjoy working around children and being part of a school community
  • Respectful, inclusive, and able to work with diverse teams

Job Duties

  • Travel between school sites as scheduled to assist with daily kitchen operations
  • Prepare and serve food according to recipes, production records, and safety standards
  • Keep workspaces clean, organized, and safe
  • Restock serving areas such as food lines, salad bars, and milk boxes
  • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries using FIFO practices
  • Serve meals to students, staff, and guests with a positive attitude
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
  • Follow all health and safety regulations at each site
  • Step in to support kitchen teams or cover absences
  • Submit reports and complete assigned tasks on time
  • Take direction from Kitchen Managers and adjust quickly to new team dynamics
