Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stoop and lift 30 pounds
- Ability to push and pull 300 pounds
- Availability to work Sunday through Saturday from 4pm to 8pm
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- Must adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow standardized instructions and procedures
- Effective communication skills in English
- Basic understanding of weights and measures
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in a food service or kitchen setting preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Perform dishwashing and pot washing duties
- Sanitize main kitchen and all food service equipment
- Retrieve soiled patient trays
- Inventory and stock supplies in unit kitchens
- Assist in training other food service workers
- Set up, stock and sanitize workstations following standard procedures
- Report any hazardous conditions or equipment malfunctions to supervisor immediately
