Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Ability to work full-time or part-time
- Must be available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have physical stamina for extended standing and walking
- Must be able to carry heavy trays up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills to relay information between kitchen and service staff
- Must demonstrate reliability and a positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours per shift
- Ability to carry trays weighing 35-50 pounds with balance and dexterity
- Capacity to remain calm, professional, and organized under pressure
- Excellent memory for table numbers and attention to plate presentation
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Promptly and accurately deliver food orders from kitchen to guests
- Inspect every plate before it leaves the kitchen to ensure quality and temperature standards
- Act as the primary liaison between front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- Anticipate guest needs by providing condiments, silverware, and beverage refills
- Assist servers and bussers by clearing plates and glassware between courses
- Keep the expeditor station stocked with garnishes, sauces, and clean tray liners
