Job Duties

  • Provide quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail
  • Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control
  • Help plan menus
  • Ensure timely, efficient meal service
  • supervise serving of meals
  • Respond to customer complaints in person and via email
  • Train employees
  • assign and coordinate work of employees to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite work flow
  • Use proper systems for completion of required daily, weekly, monthly reports such as inventory, cash reports, production records, payroll and time-keeping
  • Responsible for proper cash handling as established by the Food Accounting Manual
  • Order food and other necessary supplies from approved sources
  • Direct and participate in overall sanitation and safety of facility and employees
  • Develop sanitation schedule and ensure adherence
  • Issue written and oral instructions
  • Help select and orient employees
  • oversee staff training in areas of responsibility
  • Perform other duties as assigned
