Job Duties
- Provide quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail
- Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control
- Help plan menus
- Ensure timely, efficient meal service
- supervise serving of meals
- Respond to customer complaints in person and via email
- Train employees
- assign and coordinate work of employees to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service
- Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite work flow
- Use proper systems for completion of required daily, weekly, monthly reports such as inventory, cash reports, production records, payroll and time-keeping
- Responsible for proper cash handling as established by the Food Accounting Manual
- Order food and other necessary supplies from approved sources
- Direct and participate in overall sanitation and safety of facility and employees
- Develop sanitation schedule and ensure adherence
- Issue written and oral instructions
- Help select and orient employees
- oversee staff training in areas of responsibility
- Perform other duties as assigned
