Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in inventory, people management and ordering
- Ability to manage cash handling according to company procedures
- Ability to work full-time schedule, Monday through Friday with variable hours
- Ability to respond effectively to customer complaints
- Ability to develop and manage staff schedules and workflows
- Compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in inventory management
- Experience in people management
- Experience in ordering food and supplies
- Ability to train and lead foodservice staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective communication abilities
Job Duties
- Provide quality customer service by giving one-on-one attention to detail
- Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items according to company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control
- Help plan menus
- Ensure timely and efficient meal service and supervise serving of meals
- Respond to customer complaints in person and via email
- Train employees and assign and coordinate work to promote efficiency and excellence
- Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow
- Use systems to complete daily, weekly and monthly reports such as inventory, cash reports, production records, payroll and timekeeping
- Handle cash properly as per Food Accounting Manual
- Order food and necessary supplies from approved sources
- Direct and participate in sanitation and safety procedures according to company and government standards
- Develop sanitation schedule and ensure adherence
- Issue oral and written instructions
- Assist with employee selection, orientation and training
- Perform other assigned duties
