Job Requirements

  • Ability to work on-call schedule Monday through Friday starting at 7:00 am
  • Prior school kitchen experience preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Ability to provide leadership and manage a team
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to train and coordinate staff effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • Proficient in basic administrative tasks including inventory and cash handling
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to respond appropriately to customer complaints

Job Duties

  • Provide quality customer service by offering one-on-one attention to detail
  • Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items according to company standards
  • Help plan menus
  • Ensure timely and efficient meal service and supervise serving
  • Respond to customer complaints in person and via email
  • Train employees and coordinate work assignments to promote efficiency
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow
  • Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports including inventory, cash reports, production records, payroll, and timekeeping
  • Handle cash properly according to Food Accounting Manual
  • Order food and supplies from approved sources
  • Ensure overall sanitation and safety compliance of facility and employees
  • Develop and enforce sanitation schedules for cleaning and utensil washing
  • Issue written and oral instructions
  • Help select and orient employees and oversee staff training
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed
