Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
  • comfortable working in a fast-paced, confined environment
  • must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service management or a similar role
  • strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • experience driving larger vehicles such as box trucks or food trucks preferred
  • food safety certification or willingness to obtain it preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve Wetzel's Pretzels menu items according to company standards
  • manage the day-to-day operations of the food truck including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service
  • drive the food truck to designated locations and set up for service
  • ensure that all food safety regulations are followed and that the food truck is clean and organized
  • train and mentor food truck staff to uphold company standards and provide exceptional service
  • delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations during busy hours
  • develop and implement strategies to increase sales and drive business growth
  • collaborate with the marketing team to promote the food truck and attract new customers
  • handle customer complaints or issues professionally and timely
  • create a fun, efficient, and professional work environment
  • safely drive and operate the food truck to various locations as scheduled
  • set up and break down the food truck at each location
  • ensure the safe and timely delivery of food products to customers
  • maintain a clean and organized food truck workspace
  • assist with food preparation and service as needed
  • perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the truck such as fuel and cleanliness
