Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
- comfortable working in a fast-paced, confined environment
- must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service management or a similar role
- strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- experience driving larger vehicles such as box trucks or food trucks preferred
- food safety certification or willingness to obtain it preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve Wetzel's Pretzels menu items according to company standards
- manage the day-to-day operations of the food truck including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service
- drive the food truck to designated locations and set up for service
- ensure that all food safety regulations are followed and that the food truck is clean and organized
- train and mentor food truck staff to uphold company standards and provide exceptional service
- delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations during busy hours
- develop and implement strategies to increase sales and drive business growth
- collaborate with the marketing team to promote the food truck and attract new customers
- handle customer complaints or issues professionally and timely
- create a fun, efficient, and professional work environment
- safely drive and operate the food truck to various locations as scheduled
- set up and break down the food truck at each location
- ensure the safe and timely delivery of food products to customers
- maintain a clean and organized food truck workspace
- assist with food preparation and service as needed
- perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the truck such as fuel and cleanliness
