Job Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency
- must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Health Card (Food Worker Card)
- must be able to obtain and maintain Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Class 12 Mixologist Permit
- must have a valid Washington state Driver License
- ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- availability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- must comply with all food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
Job Qualifications
- Exceptional guest service skills
- a minimum of three years experience in kitchen preparation and cooking or equivalent education and training
- at least one year experience in a similar role
- experience with high volume cooking
- ability to work with high temperature equipment
Job Duties
- Prep and prepare all menu items
- fill out and complete daily prep lists if needed
- maintain items for a well-stocked cooking station
- ensure quality of products served
- proficiently cook at all stations in the food truck
- work well under pressure and communicate effectively with team members and guests
- read kitchen orders and prepare products in a timely manner
- comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and policies
- have knowledge and understanding of all food truck equipment
- maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
- follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines
- follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup standards
- provide alcohol service according to MAST program guidelines
- assist in all areas of food preparation and production
- operate POS system while taking orders and tendering payments
- balance and reconcile cash till and POS
- maintain confidential daily record of tips
- greet and interact with guests professionally
- open and close food truck following checklists
- assist in other kitchen areas such as banquets and social functions
- work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- perform other duties as assigned
