Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous cooking experience
- ability to lead operations and staff
- reliable and self-motivated
- able to work independently and make decisions
- valid driver’s license to drive food truck
- ability to work full-time
- flexible to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Strong cooking skills
- experience in food trucks or small kitchens a plus
- ability to execute under pressure
- organized and self-motivated
- leadership skills to coordinate a small team
- creativity in refining food concepts
- experience with inventory and cost management
Job Duties
- Executing and evolving the existing menu
- developing new items and improving the concept over time
- food prep and cooking during service
- ordering and shopping for ingredients
- inventory and cost control
- setup, service, and breakdown including driving the truck to and from the commissary
- maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- act as the point person on the truck during service
- help coordinate and direct other staff during prep and service
- work directly with ownership to plan menus, ordering, and day-to-day operations
- assist with training and onboarding of team members as needed
