Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver’s license
- Valid food handler’s permit where required
- Prior experience in food delivery driving
- Ability to work the scheduled hours from Sunday through Friday, 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely according to traffic laws
- Ability to perform physical tasks involved in loading and unloading
- Compliance with company drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Must have a valid state driver’s license
- Must have a valid food handler’s permit where required
- Prior food delivery driving experience
- Ability to inventory and handle food orders accurately
- Understanding of sanitation and safety standards
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
Job Duties
- Picks up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk
- Receives completed production orders from staging clerk and inventories items
- Loads orders onto truck with assistance of staging clerks in a safe, orderly manner
- Unloads requisitioned materials at delivery site
- Follows sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
- Ensures hot and cold food items meet company standards and sanitation requirements
- Collects empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise
- Maintains general cleanliness of assigned vehicle
- Performs routine maintenance on delivery truck
- Interacts with coworkers to ensure company service standards
- Provides quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail
- Performs other duties as assigned
