Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 25 pounds
- able to stand and walk for extended periods
- must submit to background check prior to cash handling position
- pass Luby's Cashier Certification criteria
- availability to work varied schedules and hours
- must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- able to work collaboratively in a team
- good organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- organizational and multitasking skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- basic knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus
- excellent communication skills
- ability to handle monetary transactions accurately
- strong interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Take guest orders accurately and efficiently
- package, label, and bag orders for take-out and delivery
- process guest payments using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- deliver food and beverages to customers as needed
- ensure guest satisfaction by responding to needs courteously and promptly
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area
- participate in Off Premise Dining services when required
