Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds routinely
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Compliance with food safety and health code regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English and ability to interpret instructions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Understanding of OSEH and HACCP food safety standards
  • Experience with food preparation in a kitchen or food service setting preferred
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Follow standardized recipes for all meals in back-of-house production or front-of-house stations
  • Maintain clean and organized work environment following HACCP standards and health codes
  • Set up assigned work stations including receiving and storage of supplies
  • Assist cooks and bakers with routine food preparation tasks
  • Trim and slice cooked meats and cheeses
  • Clean and process raw vegetables and fruits
  • Comply with OSEH and HACCP food safety standards and minimize waste
