Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Knowledge of basic food safety, infection control and sanitation
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capacity to lift, push, pull, bend and kneel
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to provide quick, accurate and courteous service
- Willingness to work PRN evening shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- No experience required
- Requires knowledge of basic food safety
- infection control and sanitation
- Serve Safe training may be required, depending on location
- ISDOH certification of Food handler under Title 410 IAC 7-22 may be required at some locations
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of the CBORD system relative to job responsibilities preferred
- Requires ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
- requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling
Job Duties
- Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for a diverse customer base
- The customer base includes patients, family members, physicians, other employees and the public
- The incumbent is responsible for quick, accurate, and courteous service, and resolution of customer concerns
- Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety
- Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment
