Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- must have six months of relevant food preparation experience
- must possess a valid Alabama driver's license
- must pass criminal background check
- must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to operate city owned vehicles
- must pass pre-employment drug test
Job Qualifications
- six months of food preparation experience other than salad bar preparation that includes making money transactions
- willingness to submit to criminal background check
- valid Alabama driver's license with insurable driving record
- ability to serve alcoholic beverages
- effective communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- perform inventory and cashier duties
- cook and serve food items and/or meals
- clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas
- contribute to department objectives
- operate city owned vehicles to transport food items and supplies
- work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- comply with sanitary and safety standards
