Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience required
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Ability to wear protective equipment and clothing such as gowns, gloves, goggles, and rubber-soled closed-toe footwear
- Compliance with local health and safety regulations
- Ability to climb ladders
- Physical capability to reach, stand for long periods, squat, bend, carry, and lift supplies and equipment weighing 35 pounds or more up to 80% of the time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred
- Prior food service experience is preferred
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Must be able to wear protective equipment and clothing required by the environment or government regulations
- Adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption
- Ability to climb ladders
Job Duties
- Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public
- Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service
- Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety
- Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment
