Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- No prior experience required
- Knowledge of basic food safety, infection control and sanitation
- Serve Safe training may be required depending on location
- ISDOH Food handler certification may be required at some locations
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Ability to stand and walk long periods
- Physical stamina for lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling

Job Duties
- Prepare, plate, and serve food to patients, staff, and visitors
- Transport food and supplies efficiently within hospital areas
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of food preparation and serving areas
- Adhere to infection control and food safety standards
- Operate food service and computer equipment accurately
- Address and resolve customer concerns courteously
- Follow established procedures for safe food handling and equipment use
