Job Requirements

  • Ability to understand verbal instructions and read and understand written instructions
  • Six months of previous experience
  • Skills to add and subtract numbers and compare numbers and letters
  • Ability to respond appropriately to written or verbal instructions
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull non-motorized equipment weighing over 50 pounds
  • Ability to stoop, bend, reach, grasp, walk, and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends
  • Commitment to maintaining a courteous attitude when interacting with patients and visitors

Job Qualifications

  • Six months previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
  • Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
  • Ability to respond appropriately to instructions and requests
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a food service or healthcare-related environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform a variety of food service duties involving simple and repetitive tasks
  • Work closely with the food service team to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Read and understand verbal and written instructions
  • Respond appropriately to instructions, questions, or requests for information
  • Maintain courtesy and professionalism when interacting with patients and visitors
  • Handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy objects, pushing and pulling equipment
  • Stand and walk for prolonged periods during shifts
