Job Requirements
- Ability to understand verbal instructions and read and understand written instructions
- Six months of previous experience
- Skills to add and subtract numbers and compare numbers and letters
- Ability to respond appropriately to written or verbal instructions
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull non-motorized equipment weighing over 50 pounds
- Ability to stoop, bend, reach, grasp, walk, and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Commitment to maintaining a courteous attitude when interacting with patients and visitors
Job Qualifications
- Six months previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Ability to respond appropriately to instructions and requests
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Previous experience in a food service or healthcare-related environment preferred
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of food service duties involving simple and repetitive tasks
- Work closely with the food service team to ensure quality and efficiency
- Read and understand verbal and written instructions
- Respond appropriately to instructions, questions, or requests for information
- Maintain courtesy and professionalism when interacting with patients and visitors
- Handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy objects, pushing and pulling equipment
- Stand and walk for prolonged periods during shifts
