Job Duties

  • Supervises assigned areas and personnel ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, training, and covering shifts when needed
  • Ensures accurate and timely productivity while meeting sanitation and safety guidelines
  • Assists managers with interviewing, performance evaluations, counseling, reporting, and in-service training
  • Addresses department downtime, safety issues, and problems with corrective actions
  • Trains and monitors staff on hospital policies, safety, sanitation, computer use, and documentation
  • Communicates employee, equipment, and department needs to management
  • Supports management and peers through positive words and actions
