Job Duties
- Oversees work priorities in coordination with the Chef/Director and inform them of supply and product inventory levels as well as informed of problems with equipment, food, and other situations
- Respond to customer service issues with a sense of urgency
- Reconcile cash drawers at the end of the shift or as required
- Assist with overseeing daily operations of daily coffee/beverage, retail, and food services
- Conducts employee training sessions as requested
- Assist in covering shifts left vacant by absence or vacation
- Assists with cleaning of the kitchen, including food service equipment as well as assists with catering, including, but not limited to, cold food prep, delivery, and clean-up, as assigned
- Communicate with various departments within the school, including facilities, warehouse, executive suite, IT, and others, as necessary
- Directly communicating pertinent information with departments leads to ensure the uninterrupted daily operation of the various outlets
- Be willing to make deliveries to the various outlets and remote campus throughout the day if needed
- Maintains confidentiality, preserving restrictions on access and disclosure, including means for protecting staff personal privacy and company proprietary information
- Adheres to established departmental policies and procedures
