Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years food service experience
  • ability to work in a stressful environment
  • critical thinking skills

  • ability to work with minimal supervision
  • physical ability to perform job tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, walking, and repetitive movements
  • compliance with safety and sanitation regulations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • supervises daily staff activities for the food services department
  • handles and resolves complex issues and complaints to enhance employee and patient satisfaction
  • provides leadership, orientation, training, mentoring and coaching to staff
  • assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
  • assists leadership with planning, coordinating, and performing various duties
  • ensures staff compliance with all regulatory food and employee safety, sanitation requirements, HACCP guidelines, and departmental policies
  • coordinates and supervises staffing assignments based on daily volumes
  • performs staff responsibilities to fulfill departmental needs when necessary
