Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years food service experience
- ability to work in a stressful environment
- critical thinking skills
- decisive judgment
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- physical ability to perform job tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, walking, and repetitive movements
- compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
- willingness to take appropriate action in challenging situations

Job Duties
- supervises daily staff activities for the food services department
- handles and resolves complex issues and complaints to enhance employee and patient satisfaction
- provides leadership, orientation, training, mentoring and coaching to staff
- assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
- assists leadership with planning, coordinating, and performing various duties
- ensures staff compliance with all regulatory food and employee safety, sanitation requirements, HACCP guidelines, and departmental policies
- coordinates and supervises staffing assignments based on daily volumes
- performs staff responsibilities to fulfill departmental needs when necessary
