Job Requirements

  • hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years of K-12 food service experience
  • valid driver’s license
  • knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
  • familiarity with food safety and sanitary practices
  • obtain Manager’s ServSafe Certification within 6 months if not already held
  • strong integrity and good moral character
  • effective English communication skills
  • some accounting experience
  • knowledge of child nutrition programs
  • inventory control skills
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted

Job Qualifications

  • hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • have at least 3 years of K-12 food service experience
  • hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • have knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
  • be familiar with all food safety and sanitary practices
  • hold Manager’s ServSafe Certification or obtain within first 6 months
  • demonstrate excellent integrity and good moral character
  • communicate effectively in English
  • have some accounting experience
  • be well versed in child nutrition programs
  • have working knowledge of inventory control
  • possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • be able to lift and carry 25 pounds unassisted

Job Duties

  • assist the Executive Director of Food Services with daily operations
  • ensure compliance with child nutrition programs including CEP, NSLP, SBP, CACFP, and ASP
  • maintain knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and safety standards
  • manage inventory control practices
  • communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and stakeholders
  • support accounting and budgetary functions
  • uphold food safety and sanitary practices in all food handling processes
