Job Requirements
- hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 3 years of K-12 food service experience
- valid driver’s license
- knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
- familiarity with food safety and sanitary practices
- obtain Manager’s ServSafe Certification within 6 months if not already held
- strong integrity and good moral character
- effective English communication skills
- some accounting experience
- knowledge of child nutrition programs
- inventory control skills
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted
Job Qualifications
- hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- have at least 3 years of K-12 food service experience
- hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
- have knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment
- be familiar with all food safety and sanitary practices
- hold Manager’s ServSafe Certification or obtain within first 6 months
- demonstrate excellent integrity and good moral character
- communicate effectively in English
- have some accounting experience
- be well versed in child nutrition programs
- have working knowledge of inventory control
- possess excellent interpersonal skills
- be able to lift and carry 25 pounds unassisted
Job Duties
- assist the Executive Director of Food Services with daily operations
- ensure compliance with child nutrition programs including CEP, NSLP, SBP, CACFP, and ASP
- maintain knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and safety standards
- manage inventory control practices
- communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and stakeholders
- support accounting and budgetary functions
- uphold food safety and sanitary practices in all food handling processes
