Job Requirements
- enrolled at Grand Canyon University as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program
- retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student
- maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the university
- must be able to work weekday mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- must have a Maricopa County Food Handler's Card and non-slip shoes
- must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements
- no fake nails, no nail polish, no piercings, and no jewelry including temporary and permanent
- must be able to stand for long periods of time, be able to lift 50 lbs and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- interacts with customers in the serving and dining areas
- provides attentive and responsive customer service
- records all sales, collects money, operates a cash register and follows all cash handling procedures as required
- may be required to prepare for service before the meal and clean the dining room after the meal including wiping tables, sweeping and mopping the floor, cleaning chairs, ensuring the acceptable appearance of the dining area
- cleans and sanitizes workstations, counters, and other equipment
- complies with all HACCP policies and procedures
- may perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
