Job Duties

  • Ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware
  • Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen including coffee makers, pots and pans, mixers
  • Unload and store deliveries
  • Sweep and mop floors, especially after spills or breakages
  • Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans
  • Follow proper sanitation procedures per local health department regulations
  • Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures
  • Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed
