Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years previous food service experience
  • Ability to obtain a Food Handler card
  • Must pass a lift test as part of the hiring process
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Ability to adhere to food safety guidelines
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years previous food service experience as a cook, prep cook, food service worker, or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a Food Handler card
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare main entrees, snacks, and catering offerings for district needs
  • Follow food preparation and storage guidelines set by the Oklahoma State Department of Health
  • Adhere to standardized operating policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering food supplies
  • Collaborate with Food Services Coordinator to plan menus and special events
  • Ensure all food products meet quality and safety standards
