Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in food service or custodial cleaning is an asset
- Familiarity with health and safety standards
- Basic math skills for inventory and cashiering
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical ability to perform required duties including lifting and standing
Job Duties
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks as directed
- Maintain a clean and sanitary ware-washing and kitchen lab environment
- Process chefs’ supplies requests to build class carts
- Participate in cashiering process for weekly operations and special events
- Check in deliveries from vendors and stock products in designated storage areas
- Maintain a safe environment free of slip and fall hazards
- Operate a three-sink washing system and automatic dishwasher to County Health Department standards
- Shelve clean dishes in a timely manner to maintain an organized kitchen
- Assist with basic food handling and setup for culinary events
- Wear proper uniform as required
- Work additional hours when needed
