Job Requirements
- Prior van driving and moving experience is preferred
- Ability to work part time during school days from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Able to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying
- Must comply with food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work under supervision and follow directions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food preparation or service preferred
- Prior van driving experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members
Job Duties
- Prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients
- Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards
- Store food properly following wrapping, dating, safety and rotation procedures
- Clean work areas, equipment and utensils
- Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- Utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, temperature and portion control
