Job Requirements

  • Prior van driving and moving experience is preferred
  • Ability to work part time during school days from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Able to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying
  • Must comply with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work under supervision and follow directions
  • Must pass background check and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in food preparation or service preferred
  • Prior van driving experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work cooperatively with team members

Job Duties

  • Prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh and measure designated ingredients
  • Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards
  • Store food properly following wrapping, dating, safety and rotation procedures
  • Clean work areas, equipment and utensils
  • Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment
  • Utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, temperature and portion control
