Job Duties
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
- weighs and measures designated ingredients
- carries pans, kettles and trays of food between stations according to safety standards
- distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment
- stores foods in designated areas following food safety and rotation procedures
- cleans work areas, equipment and utensils
- ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements
- uses approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures and portion control
- serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner
- interacts with customers and resolves complaints
- relays information to supervisor
- performs sales transactions
- operates cash register accurately
- makes change, accepts various payment methods
- issues receipts
- follows cash refund procedures
- manages assigned cash drawer to prevent overage/shortage
- replenishes condiments, beverages and supplies
- maintains cleanliness of service area
- performs other duties as assigned
