Job Requirements

- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of experience
- Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling techniques
- Experience with hot food preparation
- Experience with cashiering and food handling
- Ability to count money

- Safe and sanitary food handling techniques
- Experience preparing hot food items in large volume
- Proper use of convection ovens, grills, braises, fryers
- Creative food garnishing techniques
- Ability to count money
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Two years hot food preparation experience preferred
- At least one year cashier or food handling experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepares hot and cold foods for patients and retail customers according to production sheets
- Accurately follows standardized recipes for in-house production
- Uses cooking and prep equipment properly
- Follows safe food handling practices
- Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and order of work area and equipment
- Notifies supervisors of equipment malfunctions and food preparation problems
- Performs basic housekeeping duties
- Relieves and trains other positions as assigned
- Obtains necessary stock
- Completes cashiering duties including opening and closing procedures
- Balances cash register and makes deposits
- Processes cash and credit card transactions
- Processes over-rings, refunds, and pay outs with supervisor approval
- Prices merchandise and stocks shelves
- Works independently to take customer orders and prepares special orders
- Interacts socially with customers and addresses their concerns
- Performs other duties as assigned
