Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh and measure designated ingredients
  • Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards
  • Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment
  • Store foods in designated areas according to wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures
  • Clean work areas, equipment and utensils
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements
  • Use approved food recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperatures and portion control
  • Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner
  • Relay relevant information to supervisor
  • Perform sales transactions and enter sales into cash register accurately
  • Make change, accept declining balance cards and other forms of payment
  • Issue receipts and follow standard procedures for cash refunds
  • Manage assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring compliance with overage and shortage standards
  • Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness
  • Perform other duties as assigned
