Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
  • Minimum six months of food service experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Proficient understanding of food allergies and modified diets
  • Proficient understanding of HACCP requirements
  • Excellent people skills
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
  • Availability to work morning shifts

Job Duties

  • Perform food preparation duties including rinsing, peeling, slicing, and dicing fruit and vegetables
  • Weigh and measure ingredients accurately
  • Wrap, date-label, and store food items properly
  • Clean and organize work areas, equipment, utensils, and service station
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, containers, and utensils
  • Refill condiments and other supplies as needed
  • Follow established recipes to prepare menu items
  • Ensure correct serving temperatures and portion control
  • Serve customers promptly, efficiently, and friendly
  • Provide customers with accurate information on food ingredients and availability
  • Escalate customer concerns and complaints to management
  • Comply with safety, hygiene, and service standards
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned
