Job Requirements

  • Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, and reach
  • Ability to perform fine motor skills such as grasping, turning, and finger manipulation
  • Able to obtain a City of Kansas City, City of Independence, Jackson County, or Clay County Food Handler's Permit within 30 days of hire if not already possessed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Willingness to obtain a food handler's permit if not already licensed

Job Duties

  • Prep cafeteria and patient service areas for daily operation
  • Greet customers with a friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service
  • Stock and organize supplies to maintain clean and accessible work areas
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient cafeteria operations
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean work environment
  • Communicate clearly and assist customers and patients with their needs
