Job Duties

  • Serves designated meals using portion control techniques as instructed
  • plates and serves food at stations and serving lines following ServSafe guidelines
  • serves food to customers in a pleasant and efficient manner
  • distributes prepared foods on time to designated serving areas
  • replenishes supplies as needed in serving areas
  • assists in setup of food service areas with chefs and supervisors
  • breaks down used dining trays and runs crates through dish machine
  • maintains cleanliness of work areas and equipment
  • updates Serve Safe Certification
  • records temperatures for food safety compliance
  • cleans dish room and equipment at end of meal periods
  • replenishes dining room stock
  • maintains cleanliness of dining and beverage areas
  • complies with safety policies and personal safety gear
  • ensures proper hygiene and dress code
  • cleans dining room and patio areas
  • distributes trays and utensils
  • reports equipment maintenance needs
  • performs dishwasher duties during slack times
  • knowledgeable about food allergens and dietary identifiers
  • restocks cereals, yogurts, breads, beverages and condiments
  • replenishes dining room dishes and cutlery
  • labels and stores leftovers properly
  • optimizes service station readiness throughout meal periods
