Job Requirements
- High school graduate
- Valid NYS driver's license (preferred)
- Ability to move materials up to 25 lbs
- Demonstrates appropriate work attitudes and performance behaviors
- Experience cooking for large groups, preferred
- Knowledge of Universal Precautions for Infection Control, HACCP, and Food Safety Standards and Procedures

Job Duties
- Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees with minimum waste for large groups of people
- Effectively follow and serve planned menus, ensuring all state requirements for nutrition are met
- Have knowledge of appropriate food substitutions that meet all state requirements for nutrition
- Maintain food inventory and rotate stock that includes refrigerated, frozen and dry goods storage and place appropriate orders with various vendors
- Follow appropriate infection control procedures
- Have knowledge of special dietary needs, i.e. serving entrees for diabetics
- Effectively operate all kitchen equipment and machinery and maintain the equipment in a clean, sanitary manner
