Job Duties
- Provide patient-centered service
- contribute to creating a friendly, welcoming, and safe environment
- communicate clearly to ensure understanding
- respond to complaints and concerns by resolving issues immediately
- organize work processes to accommodate customer needs including internal customers and co-workers
- meet or exceed customer expectations for service
- maintain professional composure in the workplace
- work effectively with team to meet or exceed customer service targets
- respect patient rights
- set up designated food stations, prepare customer orders, and service customers efficiently
- conduct cleaning and sanitation functions
- provide superior customer service in compliance with University Hospital’s Mission Statement and Five Star Service Program
- participate in catering events and other retail venues as needed
- handle food in compliance with Federal, State, and Local Health Codes and The Joint Commission
- adhere to University Hospital’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy
- keep abreast of relevant regulations, laws, and policies
- perform other related duties as assigned
