Job Requirements

  • food safety certification required within 90 days of job entry

Job Duties

  • prepare, assemble, and deliver patient meals in accordance with quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards
  • deliver stock supplies to patient floor kitchens
  • serve guests maintaining positive customer/guest relations
  • appropriately replenish used foods and supplies
  • complete sanitation duties
  • perform dish room duties daily as assigned
  • collect payments for guest trays
  • handle food sales transactions in the cafeteria as a cashier in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • set up and serve meals for corporate retail, catering, Doctors Dining Room, and other dining outlets
  • decorate buffet and reception tables as assigned
