Job Requirements
- Food handling certificate from the Cabell County Health Department
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to lift twenty-five pounds
- Visual and auditory acuity
- Availability to work part-time hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid food handling certificate from Cabell County Health Department required
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare food service preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks effectively
Job Duties
- Perform food preparation and service in cafeteria, coffee shop, main kitchen and dishroom
- Follow written and oral directions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of food service areas
- Assist in setup and breakdown of food service stations
- Handle and store food safely following health department guidelines
- Lift and carry items up to twenty-five pounds
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards
