Job Requirements
- One year of experience performing various food preparation and serving tasks
- Substitution of one year of high school education for three months of experience
- High school diploma or GED may substitute for up to 12 months of experience
- Ability to frequently lift or move objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 45 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk constantly during work
- Must adhere to uniform and appearance standards
- Availability for part-time schedule of 20 to 34.5 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience preparing and serving food
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Ability to operate grill microwave oven and deep fryer
- Customer service skills including tact and courtesy
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 45 pounds
- Familiarity with maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to operate cash register
- Basic food handling and safety knowledge
Job Duties
- Prepares a limited variety of fast food items including operation of grill microwave oven and deep fryer
- Prepares simple salads and sandwiches
- Makes coffee in large urns following established procedures
- Sets up food service counters with condiments and stocks drink dispensers
- Cleans tables and counter equipment
- Takes orders and serves customers according to portion guidelines
- Replenishes supplies from designated locations
- Opens and closes location and operates cash register as required
- Maintains neat appearance and wears uniform and name tag
- Provides courteous customer service and suggests substitutes or specials
- Ensures food presentation is attractive and appetizing
- Provides receipts and thanks customers
- Works under general supervision following prescribed procedures
- Performs other assigned related duties
