- ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines

- ability to attend ongoing training sessions
Job Duties
- assist in the preparation, distribution and service of patient and employee meals
- prepare and portion salads, desserts, beverages and special patient snacks
- set up and breakdown cafeteria food and supplies at each meal
- function as a steam table server throughout the meal period
- wash dishes and trays and store them for future use
- assemble daily nourishment orders and transport them to patient areas
- maintain and clean all food preparation equipment used throughout the day
- participate in special cleaning projects as assigned
- attend appropriate in-service sessions as presented in the department
