- high school diploma
- six months of experience in food service
- ability to operate kitchen equipment
- ability to operate a cash register
- ability to follow instructions
- physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- ability to stand for extended periods
- willingness to undergo pre-employment medical examination including substance abuse test
- consent to background investigation

- proven ability to work collaboratively with others
Job Duties
- assist in preparing and serving food and beverages
- perform routine housekeeping duties to ensure sanitation of kitchen and dining areas
- operate kitchen equipment such as slicer, mixer, convection oven, range, steam cooker, and serving line equipment
- operate a cash register
- follow oral and written instructions
- maintain records and reports as required
- establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees, school staff, and students
