Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 25-50 pounds safely
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Adequate vision and hearing for communication
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Tolerance for working in variable temperature environments
- Must produce valid PA State Criminal Record Check
- Must produce FBI Criminal History Record
- Must produce PA DHS Child Abuse History Clearance
- Must produce PA Arrest/Conviction Report Certification
- Availability to work part-time shifts as scheduled
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in food preparation or food service preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively in a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for portion control and inventory
Job Duties
- Ensure safe and sanitary food handling
- Assist with preparation and serving of nutritious meals
- Maintain efficient food service operations including inventory and cleaning
- Provide positive customer service to students and staff
- Collaborate with food service team members
- Follow district standards and food service procedures
- Perform other assigned duties related to food service
