Job Requirements

  • prior food service experience
  • ability to work on multiple assignments with minimal supervision
  • ability to work under time constraints
  • ability to read and understand English
  • basic math skills
  • ability to follow instructions

Job Duties

  • Prepare servery and dining room for service
  • serve food to patients and staff
  • prepare and serve catered functions
  • interact with patients of all ages on occasion
  • develop knowledge and skills relevant to diverse patient age groups including neonates and the terminally ill
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
  • follow food safety and hygiene protocols
