Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in food preparation and service preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry moderate weights
  • food handler certification is a plus
  • must be able to comply with all health and safety regulations
  • flexibility to work varied hours including weekends
  • good interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • basic math skills for measuring ingredients
  • reliability and punctuality
  • willingness to work part-time schedule including Sundays and Mondays

Job Duties

  • Prepares fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding
  • weighs and measures designated ingredients
  • carries pans, kettles, and trays of food safely
  • stores food following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures
  • cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment
  • serves customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor
  • ensures compliance with company service and safety standards
  • performs other duties as assigned
