Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- must have a high school diploma or GED
- experience with preparing, serving, storing of meals and kitchen sanitation preferred
- able to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for prolonged periods of time
- acceptable state/federal background checks including CORI, DCF, drug screening, psychological and medical screening
- able to work schedule that could include evenings, holidays and weekend work times
- authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare, distribute and handle meals
- maintain and sanitize kitchen, dining room and food storage areas
- interact respectfully with residents, families, co-workers and supervisors
- ensure the safety and security of kitchen, dining and storage areas and equipment
- maintain high standards of professionalism and knowledge in performance
- follow all JRI and DYS program policies and procedures
