Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service or related field preferred
- Ability to stand and walk constantly during shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs independently and heavier with assistance
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and store policies
- Compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Strong customer service orientation
- Availability to complete prescribed training
- Willingness to adhere to equal employment opportunity principles
- Ability to work in warm, noisy, and fast-paced environments
- Must pass a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) background check
- Must consent to direct deposit of net pay

Job Qualifications
- Skill to perform tasks with several steps and use judgment in sequential tasks
- Skill to serve uniform individual portions and avoid distractions
- Skill to perform simple arithmetic
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Working knowledge of common sanitation procedures to prevent contamination
- Ability to perform work according to established safety guidelines
- Ability to follow oral or written instructions
- Able to meet standards of sanitation, attractiveness, timeliness, safety and service
- Physical ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs independently and heavier objects with assistance
Job Duties
- Set up food service counters and side service stands with hot and cold food and beverages including desserts and condiments
- Assist customers in selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales
- Provide quality beverages consistent with established recipe and presentation standards
- Use suggestive selling techniques to sell associated products
- Serve food and beverages in uniform portions
- Clean dishwasher and maintain customer service area and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment according to schedules
- Follow store policies and procedures for operational flow
- Follow established standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing products
- Operate cash register and manage own change fund
- Complete prescribed training
- Provide world class customer service with emphasis on courtesy
- Assist customers and communicate positively and friendly
- Acknowledge customers, smile and make eye contact
- Ask questions to determine and solve problems
- Check for satisfaction on quality of goods and services
- Take action to solve problems quickly
- Alert supervisors or proper contacts when problems arise
- Adhere to safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Use required safety equipment and observe safe work procedures
- Report workplace hazards and injuries promptly
- Support principles of equal employment opportunity and prevent sexual harassment
- Perform other related duties as required
