Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service or related customer service field preferred
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs independently and heavier with assistance
- Willingness to comply with Federal employment policies including drug-free workplace
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Availability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
- Successful completion of background checks

Job Duties
- Set up food service counters and side service stands with hot and cold food and beverages including desserts and condiments
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales
- Provide quality beverages such as espresso drinks, Coffee of the Week, Whole Bean and food products consistent with recipe and presentation standards
- Use suggestive selling techniques to promote associated products
- Serve food and beverages in standard portions
- Make coffee in large urns ensuring proper timing and brewing
- Clean dishwasher, appliances, and maintain customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment according to checklists and schedules
- Follow store policies and procedures for operational flow
- Stock, rotate, and store products adhering to merchandising standards
- Operate cash register and manage own change fund
- Complete prescribed training
- Provide world class customer service focusing on courtesy and friendliness
- Acknowledge customers, maintain eye contact and communicate positively
- Take action to solve customer problems promptly and alert supervisors when necessary
- Adhere to safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Use required safety equipment and observe safe work procedures
- Report workplace hazards and incidents to immediate supervisor
- Support principles of EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment
- Perform other related duties as required
