Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform light to moderate physical effort including lifting up to 45 lbs independently
- capability to stand and walk for extended periods
- adherence to safety and sanitation protocols
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- availability to complete required training
- willingness to follow established store policies and procedures
- pass a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) background check
- agree to direct deposit of pay

Job Qualifications
- skill to perform tasks with several steps and use judgment in sequential tasks
- ability to serve uniform individual portions while managing distractions
- skill to perform simple arithmetic
- ability to read and follow instructions
- working knowledge of sanitation procedures to prevent contamination
- ability to perform work according to established safety guidelines
- ability to follow oral or written instructions when changes occur
- exercise judgment to meet standards of sanitation, attractiveness, timeliness, safety, and service
- physical ability to stand and walk constantly and lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs independently
- ability to lift heavier objects with assistance
- experience working in a fast-paced food service environment is beneficial
Job Duties
- Set up food service counters and side service stands with hot and cold food and beverages including desserts and condiments
- assist customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales
- provide quality beverages consistent with established recipe and presentation standards
- use suggestive selling techniques to promote associated products
- serve food and beverages in uniform portions
- make coffee in large urns according to serving needs with responsibility for timing and brewing
- properly clean dishwasher and associated appliances and maintain customer service area and equipment
- perform preventative maintenance on equipment following established checklists and schedules
- follow store policies and procedures for operational flow
- adhere to established standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products
- operate cash register and manage own change fund
- complete prescribed training
- provide world class customer service emphasizing courtesy, positive communication, and problem resolution
- acknowledge customers, smile, make eye contact, and ask questions to solve problems
- alert supervisors or proper contacts when issues arise
- adhere to safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- use required safety equipment and observe safe work procedures
- promptly report workplace hazards, injuries, or property damage
- support principles of EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment
- perform other related duties as required
