Job Duties
- Works under general supervision
- sets up and replenishes food and drink items behind the counter
- prepares food displays
- greets customers and takes orders
- weighs and portions food on plates or trays
- handles cash and credit transactions and provides correct change
- delivers orders to guests
- assists guests in the service line
- secures funds, equipment, and inventories
- serves light food items from a service cart at beachside locations
- replenishes cart supplies
- maintains friendly and professional customer interaction
- sets up and breaks down service carts
- follows sanitation procedures and maintains cleanliness
- performs expeditor duties by delivering food to customers or buffet areas
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
- inspects and cleans counters, trays, tables, and utensils
- orders, stocks, loads and unloads supplies
- collects service trays after meals
- performs other assigned duties as needed
