Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- dependable with no excessive absenteeism or tardiness
- ability to meet physical demands of the job including walking long distances
- ability to follow department safety and sanitation policies
- must be able to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and nights
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a high volume, fast paced food service environment preferred
- ability to read, speak, write and understand English
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to follow basic oral and written instructions
- understands and follows safety and sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Prepare patient meal trays for delivery
- deliver meals to patient rooms
- wash dishes
- separate trash, recycle, and compost
- restock supplies
- interact with patients and staff professionally
- operate and move large carts throughout the hospital
